Hello, Future Partner!

Many students struggle in school not because they lack intelligence, but because they need support with executive functioning skills.

Executive functioning includes the mental skills that help students:

• stay organized

• manage time

• focus on tasks

• follow directions

• control impulses

• complete assignments

The Executive Functioning Parent Questionnaire is a short screening tool that helps identify areas where a student may benefit from additional support.

Parents answer questions about their child’s behaviors related to:

• attention and focus

• organization and routines

• time management

• communication and impulse control

• homework and study habits

The results help guide our Student Success Sessions, allowing us to create strategies that help students build stronger habits, independence, and confidence in school.

Signs Your Child May Benefit From Executive Function Coaching

Your child may need support if they frequently:

• forget homework or lose assignments

• struggle to stay focused on tasks

• rush through work or make careless mistakes

• feel overwhelmed by large assignments

• have difficulty managing time

• need constant reminders to complete responsibilities

• struggle with organization of materials or backpack

Executive functioning skills can be taught and strengthened with the right strategies and coaching.
