Dominique DeMoss

Professional School Counselor M.Ed.

Hello and welcome! My name is Dominique DeMoss, and I am an experienced educator and certified school counselor dedicated to helping kids, teens, and young adults ages 10–21 thrive both academically and emotionally.

With a strong foundation in education and mental health, I specialize in supporting students who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or discouraged by school. Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they need help with organization, time management, focus, confidence, and emotional regulation. My work bridges the gap between academic support and emotional wellness, helping students build the executive functioning skills they need to succeed.

I use a Solution-Focused, strengths-based approach that is practical, encouraging, and future-focused. Sessions are designed to help students understand what’s getting in the way of their success, identify what’s already working, and develop clear, manageable strategies they can apply in real life. Students learn how to plan, prioritize, manage stress, advocate for themselves, and approach challenges with confidence.

Whether a student is experiencing academic stress, low motivation, anxiety, or difficulty staying organized, I partner with both students and parents to create meaningful goals and consistent routines that support long-term growth. My goal is to help students feel capable, confident, and equipped not just for school, but for life.

Let’s work together to help your student move forward with clarity and confidence!
